Born in the UK, Jo Ansell studied in Sussex gaining a BA Honours in Art & Related Arts and in Oxford where she obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Art. She has recently returned to Europe after spending the last eleven years in New Zealand and Australia working as a fine artist, art teacher, as well as a personal trainer and health therapist.
Jo is constantly searching for different outlets through which she can express her creative ability and has always enjoyed the many opportunities her chosen work has given her. In more recent years, her artistic vision has been inspired by using stone sculpture as her chosen medium.
Her work has been exhibited in galleries in New Zealand and Australia and has sold to a variety of clients worldwide. Jo is currently working in Robertsbridge, Sussex and in Valmont, Normandy. Check out her website at http://www.joansell.com/

Sir Ian Botham will be setting off on another legendary fundraising walk in October 2008 and will pass through Royal Tunbridge Wells on Sunday 12 October. For the first time members of the public will be able to join Ian as he walks to help blood cancer charity Leukaemia Research beat childhood leukaemia.
His Great British Walk against Childhood Leukaemia’ will take in nine towns across the UK from 10 – 18 October. This will be his 12th charity walk and on day three, he will walk in Tunbridge Wells, leaving Marks and Spencer at around 9.30am. The public are welcome to go and see him off and cheer him along the town, and for the first time, in exchange for sponsorship, a limited number of people can join him at the grounds of Penshurst Place for a six-mile walk in the heart of Kent.
