GET YOUR PACK BACK TOGETHER: JOIN ENGLAND RUGBY LEGENDS MIKE TINDALL, WILL GREENWOOD AND NEIL BACK ON THE WOLF RUN OBSTACLE CHALLENGE
England 2003 Rugby World Cup heroes Mike Tindall, Will Greenwood and Neil Back are getting back together to take part in a brand new Wolf Run obstacle challenge at Pippingford Park, East Sussex on Saturday 28th April.
To celebrate the new event, the three Rugby World Cup winners will be running shoulder-to-shoulder with Saturday runners and providing a helping hand to tackle the famous Wolf Run obstacles.
Ahead of the April 28th event, The Wolf Run put Mike, Will and Neil through their paces in the infamous Mud Sucker obstacle, to give them a taste of what to expect on 28th April
To encourage people to get their own Wolf Packs back together, The Wolf Run is offering a buy four places and get one free deal for the East Sussex event in Ashdown Forest.
Commenting on the challenge ahead of them, Mike Tindall said: “It’s great to have an excuse to get back together with Will and Neil – we definitely don’t do it enough. We occasionally bump into each other at England matches but in terms of doing something together that is a completely social and pre-arranged gathering, it just doesn’t happen.”
“As a team back in 2003, it was the team spirit, dogged determination, dedication and unbelievable camaraderie that set us apart from the other teams. I knew that no matter who was stood to my left or my right, I could 100% rely on them to get the job done. It’s 15 years this year since that unbelievable evening but I have no doubt we’ll still have the same togetherness and team work. We’ll have to put that to good use to get us through The Wolf Run and we look forward to helping as many people as we can around the course.”
Wolf Run Director, Charlie Moreton commented: “We are thrilled to have Mike, Will and Neil on board. It will be awesome to see them working as a team again as they tackle The Wolf Run together. It’s also an exciting opportunity for our runners at Pippingford Park on the 28th April to take on the course with these rugby legends.”
“Our aim is to encourage people to use The Wolf Run as an event to get back together with friends they might not see in-person as much as they’d like. The beauty of Wolf Run is that it is open to all abilities and requires a real team spirit to get around – making it perfect for a group of friends.”
Moreton continues: “Ashdown Forest offers the perfect wild landscape just 30 miles from central London. The venue is no stranger to obstacle racing as it has hosted the UK OCR championship finals and been a military training area since the 1930s. The combination of open hills and intricate wooded valleys make it perfect for a Wolf Run event, with lots of mud and water.”

What is the Wolf Run?
The Wolf Run is an approx. 10k off-road run featuring a series of man-made and natural obstacles located throughout the course. We have six events, over four seasons throughout the year (Spring, Summer Autumn & Winter). The concept behind the Wolf Run was to re-create the feeling of running in natural terrain – a wild run that would allow people to experience natural, raw running conditions as far as possible whilst also presenting runners with a challenging, interesting and enjoyable event. Those who complete a run in every season over the course of a year become an Alpha Wolf.
Is the Wolf Run a race/timed event?
The Wolf Run is all about the experience of Wild Running™ – running wild and being 100% involved in the experience. The Wolf Run is not a race; it’s a physical and mental challenge that every Wolf Runner tackles their own way – whether you’re running in a pack or alone as a lone wolf! We don’t use timing chips and if you’d like to wear a watch to time yourself, please make sure it’s water/shock resistant!
How is the Wolf Run different from other off-road events?
Off-road running is becoming increasingly popular and justifiably so – getting off the pavements and treadmills into interesting, challenging terrain is amazingly good for you physically and mentally. We are often asked how we are different from the other obstacle/trail/mud runs: the answer is that we combine the best features of all three types of run!
Our courses are a unique mix of great running trails across open ground and through woodland. There are a series of physical challenges using man-made obstacles with the run course also featuring a huge number of nature’s finest obstacles, from lake swims to mud pits, fallen trees, boggy ground, ditches, hills and dense foliage, making the run more organic and recreating a natural, wild run. Every step will test you mentally and physically, taking you back to a primal, instinctive way of running in raw, challenging terrain.
The design of our obstacles is also overseen by a fitness professional with a Masters in Sports Science and years of experience in functional fitness training. This ensures that your entire body is challenged by the design of our course, providing an excellent all-body workout that will leave you fitter, stronger and more confident.

Fascinating new book shines new light of the life of A.A.Milne
The Extraordinary Life of A A Milne
Author: Nadia Cohen
Highlights To be released the same month as Goodbye Christopher Robin – the upcoming film directed by Simon Curtis.
Starring Domhnall Gleeson as A. A. Milne and Margot Robbie as Milne’s wife Daphne.
A fascinating insight into one of the world’s most beloved children’s authors Uncovers the turbulent relationship between Milne and his son, the boy who inspired the enchanting Christopher Robin stories A look at his unconventional marriage and longing to be taken seriously as a political activist.
This book answers why Christopher Robin felt his childhood was exploited Overall, this account reects on the phenomenal global legacy Milne left behind VERY few authors can ever dream of coming close to the legacy left by A A Milne. He remains a household name in almost every corner of the globe thanks to a phenomenally popular collection of whimsical children’s stories about a boy named Christopher Robin and his beloved teddy bear. Generations of children have grown up loving the tales of Winnie The Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood, which are still among the most popular – and protable – ctional characters in the world. But while the adorable poems and stories have brought unparalleled joy to millions, Alan Alexander Milne, himself was never able to enjoy the fame and fortune they brought him.
He died deeply resenting Pooh’s success, as far as he was concerned those stories were just such a tiny fraction of his literary work, but nothing else he produced came close in terms of public appreciation. Milne died still unable to reconcile the fact that no matter what else he wrote, regardless of all the plays and stories for adults he had published, he would always be remembered as a children’s storyteller. And his son, widely hailed as the inspiration for the adorable character of Christopher Robin, could never accept his unique place in literary history either. He had barely reached his teens before he grew to loathe his famous father, who he bitterly accused of exploiting his early years.
The Extraordinary Life of A A Milne delves deep into the life of Milne and sheds light on new places, and tells stories untold. About the Author Nadia Cohen is an entertainment journalist who has worked at a number of national newspapers and magazines including Grazia and the Daily Mail. As a show-business correspondent she covered lm festivals, premieres and award ceremonies around the world. Nadia was headhunted for the launch of a new American magazine, In Touch Weekly, and spent several years living and working in New York.
