The Herstmonceux Castle Wedding Fayre

We look forward to seeing you! This spectacular venue has been made available for this exclusive Wedding Fayre and we are keen to build on the success of the last show.
As before, all stands will be situated inside the castle which is not normally open to the public.
This magnificent venue attracts a large number of couples eager to source the very best services for their fairytale wedding.

Public Entry details:
Entry to the Wedding Fayre is Free but Herstmonceux Castle levies a small charge to get into the Castle Grounds.
The normal charge of £6 per person has been specially reduced to £2.00 per person which also allows access to the Gardens and Grounds.

Cost of stand is £250  (A £100 non-refundable deposit is required when booking).
Size of stand: 6ft x 3ft table supplied. Total 8ft Frontage. (6ft behind stand.)

Getting into the castle on the day - Use main castle entrance from Wartling Road.
Drive down past front of castle and follow signs to Castle Reception
(parking in 100 yards on right and left). 
The public will park in front of the castle.

You may set up on Saturday 23rd October 2010 from 12 noon until 4.00pm. 
Important Note: If you will be setting up on Saturday could you please send us an email to let us know so we know who to expect and when everyone has arrived.

Alternatively you can arrive early on Sunday morning 24th October with access from 8.00am. 

On Sunday 24th October you must finish setting up before 10am and you must not break your stand down before 4.00pm.

Important note:  The castle is obviously locked at night with it’s own security, however neither Herstmonceux Castle or the Wedding Fayre organisers can be held responsible for any property left overnight within the castle. This is entirely at your own risk and we would advise that anything valuable should be brought with you on the morning of the wedding fayre. 

We have allocated two chairs and one table per stand.  You have a 6 ft x 3ft table area with another ft each side - total of 8 ft frontage. Depth is approx 7 ft.  Stands will be marked out with your name and we will direct you on arrival.  Although there are many power points available it would be helpful to bring an extension lead with you if you have one. 
The castle has asked us to point out there should be no smoking within the castle, no helium balloons or candles as the sensitive fire alarms may be triggered. 
No material or structures can be fixed or stuck to any of the walls within the castle.  Any display stands or shelving must be freestanding.
There is a maximum ceiling height of 13ft. 

The castle has it’s own cafeteria/restaurant which will be open on the day serving refreshments and lunches.
The Wedding Fayre stands will be situated within three rooms and the public will have to go through all of these in order to enter and exit.  This means nobody will be in a bad position or tucked away.
